According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on June 20, The Block reported that French authorities have allowed Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov to leave France for the second time since his detention in August 2024. According to French newspaper Le Monde, Durov can travel to Telegram's headquarters in Dubai starting from July 10, but is limited to 14 days.

In addition to business reasons, Durov's trip has important personal matters: "My newborn son is spending the first few months of his life, and since I couldn't be in Dubai to witness his birth, he still hasn't obtained a passport. I also have a teenage son in a boarding school in Dubai, who just broke his arm and has no parental support nearby."

The French National Anti-Fraud Office arrested Durov on August 24, 2024, accusing him of supporting illegal activities through the Telegram platform, including providing crypto tools, disseminating child pornography, and money laundering.
