Over 200 Harry Bolz Memecoins Created After Elon Musk Renamed

Just a few minutes after X and Tesla CEO Elon Musk changed their 'X' account name to "Harry Bolz" (, a hint), a series of memecoins with the same name were launched on the Solana blockchain. By estimation, over 200 memecoins were launched under the name Harry Bolz in less than 30 minutes on Pump.Fun, however, none of them were officially confirmed by Musk. On Tuesday afternoon, X users noticed a strange name change of tech mogul Elon Musk on X to Harry Bolz, a fictional name suggestive of "hairy balls". By the way, this is not the first time Elon has changed his X username to Harry Bolz, as he did so in 2023. A few minutes after his X username was changed, a memecoin called "Harry Bolz" was launched on pump.fun and rose an astonishing 17,000% in 30 minutes with a market capitalization of $3.68 million. However, a quick look at the pump.fun platform shows that over 200 memecoins have been launched in the past 60 minutes with the name “Harry Bolz”. However, it is important to note that Musk has not officially confirmed any memecoins and he has not provided a reason for changing the username X. Memecoins have little to no utility value and their prices are often based on pure speculation and marketing gimmicks in the market.
