In the field of Blockchain, building a minimally trusted Bitcoin bridge has always been a tricky problem, almost becoming a consensus within the industry. However, the Fiamma team recently provided a solution with BitVM2, turning theory into reality. Their Mainnet is now live, becoming the first low-trust Bitcoin cross-chain bridge based on BitVM2 technology, currently supporting interoperability with 11 chains. Users can now unlock Bitcoin Liquidity through their application, and this action is indeed fast.

The Succinct Prover Network, which provides technical support behind the scenes, is also worth noting. This decentralized proof network and SP1 solution developed by Succinct Labs lower the barrier for zero-knowledge proofs. Traditionally, ZK required the accumulation of complex infrastructure, but Succinct allows for general-purpose ZK proofs to maintain high performance while being easily deployable. This combination of technology has great potential, especially for cross-chain scenarios that require efficient verification.
From an investment research perspective, Fiamma's implementation validates the practicality of BitVM2, while Succinct's underlying support demonstrates the value of modular ZK design. The combination of the two not only addresses the trust issue of Bitcoin bridges but may also serve as a reference template for other interoperability solutions. There are not many teams in the industry that can simultaneously achieve theoretical breakthroughs and engineering implementations, and the technical reserves and execution capabilities of this combination have clearly led the way.
