According to Wu, the Shenzhen Futian District Prosecutor's Office has disclosed a case of virtual money theft: a programmer named Xiao Wang wrote a Trojan program for an online user, assisting in the intrusion of a certain company's virtual currency account, resulting in the theft of 3 million RMB worth of USDT. After profiting 150,000 U coins, Xiao Wang attempted to hide the assets by converting and dispersing the accounts, but was ultimately captured by the police. The court determined that he constituted the crime of theft, and after the accomplice confessed and made restitution, he was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan. The prosecutor's office reminds that technical personnel involved in illegal activities will also bear criminal responsibility.
