Today, the U.S. Treasury Department announced sanctions against more than 115 entities, individuals, and vessels controlled by Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani, the son of a top political advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader. This is the largest action taken by the Treasury related to Iran since 2018.
