After experiencing a period of silence, I have once again embarked on the path of Digital Currency Trading. However, this road is not smooth sailing. Previously, I opened a Short when the price of Bitcoin reached 100,000 and successfully breakeven, but this time's experience taught me a lesson.
At the beginning of July, I once again found myself in the predicament of holding a position, this time with Ethereum. I shorted at the $2400 level and ultimately lost over a hundred thousand. Several friends who entered the market with me also cut losses at the $3000 price. This experience made me realize deeply that in a bull market, going with the trend is the wise choice. No matter how much capital you have, trying to go against the trend is futile.
After experiencing two instances of holding positions, I finally understood the importance of stop-loss. This prompted me to shift to short-term trading, embarking on a long journey of recovery. I began to practice the strategy of timely taking profits and cutting losses, no longer being overly greedy or stubbornly holding positions. From 2000 dollars to 15000 dollars, and then back down to 7000 dollars, such drastic fluctuations can easily lead one to lose their rationality.
Now, I'm not sure if there will be opportunities in the future, but I have decided to keep trying. I believe that only through experiencing setbacks can one truly grow. I plan to move forward steadily, taking one step at a time. For friends who are also engaged in short-term trading, we can communicate and share experiences with each other. Regardless of which trading platform we use, as long as our ideas align, we can discuss and progress together.
This experience has taught me that investing requires continuous learning and reflection. Every mistake is a valuable lesson that helps us make wiser decisions in future trades.
