The price curve target in triangles or geometric shapes is calculated by projecting the base of the geometric model from the breakout point.

The vertical distance for projection depends on the height of the base of the geometric model (Base Height), and is measured as the vertical difference between the highest and lowest points in the model (, such as a triangle or channel ), and is projected vertically from the point of break or penetration to determine the price target.

💡Question

If the height of the base of a price triangle = 0.08
The break occurred at the price level = 0.06

What would the expected price target be based on the classical geometric rule?
