Succinct: Leader of the Decentralization Proof Network

Succinct, as a leader in the Decentralization proof network, stands out in a competitive market with its advanced ZKVM technology. The project aims to simplify the application of zero-knowledge proofs, making it easier for developers to use.

Succinct's core technology SP1 is a high-performance, general-purpose zkVM. It provides maintainable code through the Rust language, significantly accelerating the development process while ensuring ultra-high performance and low cost. SP1 performs excellently across various real-world blockchain workloads, especially in light clients and rollups. Compared to other zkVMs, the ZKP proof cost of SP1 is reduced by an order of magnitude, making it both economical and efficient in practical applications.

Team Background

The members of the Succinct team have a solid technical background and industry experience:

• Uma Roy: Co-founder and CEO, holds a master's degree in computer science from MIT, previously worked as an engineer at Gantry.

• John Guibas: Co-founder, graduated from Stanford University in the United States.

Financing Journey

Succinct has completed two rounds of financing, raising a total of 55 million dollars:

1. Seed Round: Raised 12 million USD
2. Round A: Raised 43 million USD

Both rounds of financing were led by the well-known venture capital firm Paradigm, with other participating institutions including Robot Ventures, Standard Crypto, and others.

Participate in Testnet

Succinct is currently conducting a closed test network, with 25,000 spots available. Participants need to obtain an activation code to join the test network. Currently, there are mainly three ways to obtain the activation code:

1. Create high-quality content related to Succinct and ZK, such as articles, discussions, artworks, etc.
2. Interact with posts from the official Succinct account on social media.
3. Mention Succinct in the discussions of ZK proofs, scalability, and verifiable computation.

The testnet tasks mainly include answering questions and mini-games, with the goal of accumulating stars. The community generally believes that the number of stars may be related to the future airdrop ratio.

Participants need to activate their accounts on the official website and transfer 10U test coins for the first time. The project team will regularly transfer test coins to the test net address for participants to complete tasks.

Activities in the testnet include:

• Free tasks: Image recognition (Veristar) and Q&A (Truthlens), can earn 22 stars.
• Paid games: such as 2048, Turbo Racing, volleyball, etc., each star consumes about 0.1U.

Community suggestions prioritize completing free tasks first, and the remaining test coins can be used for paid games that you are good at, in order to maximize star earnings.
