A statement has come from an exchange regarding the PUMP sale that took place today and has taken the cryptocurrency market by storm.
The cryptocurrency exchange announced that the sale of the PUMP token has been completed. The sales process did not proceed as planned due to an unexpected API delay and resulted in excessive demand.
This situation caused some users to receive token allocations while others did not.
In the official statement made, it was stated that users who did not receive allocations would have their deposited funds fully refunded. On the other hand, it was reported that the final allocation results for users who completed the subscription process but still have their funds frozen are being reviewed.
The exchange statement included the following expressions:
"The sale of the PUMP token has been completed. Due to an unexpected API delay, the sale received excessive demand. As a result, while some users successfully received allocations, others did not. We are reviewing the allocation results for users whose funds are still frozen. All funds for users who were unable to obtain tokens will be fully refunded. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank our community for their patience and support."
During the PUMP token launch event, it was reported that 15% of the total token supply would be distributed to users, but it appears that only 12.5% has been distributed. There has been no statement from the developers of the altcoin regarding this issue.
