To resolve users' confusion regarding Farcaster and its main application names, the team decided to unify the mobile and web applications under the name Farcaster. This initiative aims to simplify the user experience and eliminate unnecessary confusion.

Premium Subscription Plan: Farcaster co-founder recently confirmed that the team is preparing to launch a new "Pro" subscription level for premium users. This service is expected to charge $10 per month and will provide users with a larger character limit and more image uploads per post, among other advanced features.

It is particularly worth mentioning that all the earnings from this on-chain subscription system will be allocated to the Farcaster creator reward program through a flywheel mechanism. Currently, the program distributes 25,000 USDC weekly to the top posters on the platform.

The co-founder explained: "The protocol needs to find a sustainable long-term source of revenue to continuously fund rewards for creators and developers, rather than relying solely on a single company. Initially, we thought storage fees could serve as a source of rewards, but later realized that to promote growth, storage fees should essentially be free."

First Airdrop Activity: Earlier this year, Farcaster launched a native wallet for its application, allowing users to interact more conveniently with its thriving mini-program ecosystem. Now, this wallet is gradually becoming a convenient center for receiving airdrops.

Given that Farcaster has some of the most active on-chain users, many crypto projects are eager to capture their attention. As a result, Farcaster has been collaborating with third-party teams to directly distribute various token airdrops to Farcaster wallet users. So far, tokens worth $110,000 have been airdropped in this way, with more distributions ongoing.
