Eurozone consumer confidence fell to -14.5

Jin10 reported on March 21 that data released on Friday showed that consumer confidence in the Eurozone decreased by 0.9 points in March compared to February. The European Commission stated that the preliminary value indicated that the Eurozone consumer confidence index fell from -13.6 in February to -14.5. Economists had previously expected the index to rise to -13.0. Across the EU, the consumer confidence index decreased by 1.0 point to -13.9.
