Kremlin: Trump's proposal to Ukraine for rare earth exchange assistance means assistance is no longer free

On February 4th, Jinshi Data reported that Kremlin spokesman Peskov said that US President Trump proposed to continue assisting Ukraine in exchange for rare earth minerals, which means that the US will turn to help Kiev on commercial terms. 'If we speak frankly, this is a proposal to purchase aid. I don't mean to continue providing it for free, but to provide it on a commercial basis. Of course, it is best not to provide any assistance, which will help end the conflict,' Trump said on Monday that if Kiev allows Washington to obtain rare earth minerals, the US is ready to continue helping Ukraine.
