On August 22, Jinshi Data reported that the retail market for narrow passenger cars in August was about 1.84 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 4.4% compared to last year, an increase of 7.0% compared to the previous month. The retail sales of new energy vehicles are expected to be around 980,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 36.6% and a month-on-month increase of 11.6%. The penetration rate is expected to increase to 53.2%.
