HIVE Digital plans to build a 100 MW hydroelectric data center in Paraguay

Canadian listed mining company HIVE Digital announced plans to build a 100-megawatt hydroelectric data center in Paraguay, with the goal of increasing its BTCMiningHash Rate to over 12 EH/s next year. As part of its expansion, HIVE also acquired 500 S21 Pro Antminers. As of July 21, 2024, HIVE holds 2,521 BTC, worth about 170 million US dollars.
