On June 19th, Jin10 News reported that US President Biden invited former President Bill Clinton and former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to assist in a fundraising event in Virginia. Facing the large amount of donations received by former President Trump, Biden has been intensively conducting fundraising activities. For most of the campaign, Trump has lagged behind Biden in fundraising, but the gap is quickly narrowing. Trump raised $141 million in May after surpassing Biden's fundraising amount for the first time in April. Biden's campaign team has not yet released May's fundraising data, which is expected to be significantly behind Trump's. After being convicted of 34 counts of felony in the hush money case in New York, Trump received a surge in donations. With less than five months left until election day, Trump may narrow or even surpass Biden's financial advantage.
