French regulators approve Merge to provide fiat and stablecoin payment services.

Gate News bot news, the London fintech company Merge has received approval from French regulators to operate simultaneously as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) and a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP).

The dual license granted by the French regulatory authorities ACPR and AMF allows Merge to provide a range of services for European and global enterprises, from fund collection and holding to executing cross-border payments and converting between fiat currency and digital currency.
