Jin10 Data reported on May 10th that, according to two Western security officials and one regional official, Iran is preparing to deliver short-range ballistic missile Fatah-360 launchers to Russia in the near future. The U.S. stated that Iran had sent these missiles to Russia last year. Analysts say that the Fatah-360 has a range of 75 miles (120 kilometers) and will provide the Russian military with a new weapon to fire at Ukrainian frontline troops, nearby military targets, and settlements close to the Russian border. The U.S. claimed last September that Iran had transported missiles to Russia using nine ships flying the Russian flag, though three sources at the time indicated that launchers were not included. Western security officials and the regional official indicated that the delivery of the launchers is imminent. Russia and Iran had previously denied that the latter had supplied the former with such missiles or any other weapons.
