Huckabee served as the Governor of Arkansas for 11 consecutive years starting from July 1996, making him the longest-serving Republican governor in the state's history. He ran for president twice in 2007 and 2015 but withdrew during the Republican primaries each time. Huckabee is a staunch supporter of Israel, endorsing Israel's claims to the West Bank and opposing Palestinian statehood.
