( is considering launching its own US dollar stablecoin as more and more Crypto Assets projects compete with its core business of cross-border money transfers. CEO Devin McGranahan said in an interview on Monday: "We are exploring the opportunity to issue stablecoins, especially in markets outside the United States." He added that for clients in other countries where regulators allow such activities, this stablecoin could be "almost like a dollar savings account."
