Costing $200 million, Trump and his donors will foot the bill to renovate the White House.

According to Jin10 data on August 1, Politico reported that the White House will undergo a $200 million extensive renovation of its East Wing, which is the latest construction project from Trump for the executive residence. White House Press Secretary Levitt announced on Thursday that a White House state dining room, approximately 90,000 square feet and capable of accommodating 650 people, will begin construction in September. According to information from the White House website, Trump and other "patriotic donors" will foot the bill for this $200 million renovation project. Levitt stated that the East Wing will also undergo "modernization" and that all office areas, including the First Lady's office, will be temporarily relocated during the construction. This is the latest and most expensive project in a series of recent White House renovations during Trump's tenure. Levitt indicated that the project is expected to be completed before the end of Trump's term.
