Ethereum Reveals Plans for the Next 10 Years – Will Focus on Two Things

After celebrating its 10th anniversary, Ethereum has announced a new vision marking the next 10 years: streamlined Ethereum. This roadmap, described by the fund as a "generational promise", aims to bring Ethereum into a new era in both performance and security. The goal: 10,000 transactions per second (TPS), quantum-resistant cryptography, and global sustainability. According to the Ethereum Foundation, ETH not only needs to scale but also must "survive all adversities". After 10 years of continuous operation, the ETH network currently has an economic security of 130 billion dollars with approximately 35.7 million ETH staked. The foundation aims to achieve 1 trillion dollars in security in the future. This method, known as "Fort mode", argues that Ethereum only exists when there is internet; that the chain only exists when the world is online. This mode aims to help Ethereum resist all types of attacks, from government threats to quantum computers. In terms of performance, Ethereum is preparing to enter "beast mode".
